Chinese Paladin - Episode 24

So now we get the end of the Ming/Yuan story.  It's also why no disciples are allowed into the Demon Sealing Tower.  It seems that Ming's spirit never left the tower after he threw himself in the way of an attack that would have killed Yuan.  That's a damn good man, right there!  So what if she's a Fox Demon...she actually did more good for humanity than those gits who had cloistered themselves away in search of Tao.  Finding the Tao is also finding your own way, to follow the rules set forth by others puts limitations and deadens what truly is, but I digress </Taoist nerdism>

Now that the story is told, we get another RPG moment!  New item!!!

Also, Xiao gets a level up!!!!

He also gets a powerful technique that he can only use 7 times before it kills him...there are 10 more episodes in this series, so it could be that the technique is going to kill him.  It would make for a properly sad ending, but I'm totally speculating here.

Also, it seems that the relationship between Xiao and Ru is growing.  He even kissed her!  No, I didn't screen cap that, it felt too odd to me and if I didn't cap it, I could move on to something really cool:  Xiao and Ru sky surfing on a sword!!!

So now, Xiao and Ru are on their way to whereever, and Sword Saint and Drunken Sword Immortal have begun to hash out the shit from their past.  Eventually, it comes to them exchanging blows.  Super powered, crazy qi fight!!

And once again, it all comes back to that pendant that Drunken Sword Immortal has that's the match for Ah Nu's pendant that she got as a child from Nan Man Mama.

This series is starting to come into it's closing stretch, I expect that these last 10 episodes are going to be full of resolutions and ass kickery!
