Sanniang's fear of crickets is tested when she gets locked into a strong room with Gexiao. She freaks. Hugs on him until they get rescued. Good times.
Xiao Ben (the bad guy) is a real bad guy...buying up a bunch of land to build a huge gambling den. His land grab even draws in Gexiao's old school and what originally started out as a pretty straight up lift of a cricket has now become a more elaborate con to ruin Xiao Ben because well...he's a bastard and has it coming.
Gexiao's old teacher from the school for orphans is pretty awesome in this. Not only does he bluff back the guys wanting to claim the land for awhile, but after everything gets settled a bit, he also tries to play matchmaker between Gexiao and Sanniang.
Shit, I'd marry her.
I wonder if the conclusion to this case will take all of next episode or if they'll dove tail the end of this one into the beginning the next. Guess I'll find out soon enough, right?
