Time for Caishan to get back to Wudang, his sifu and his brothers on Mt, Wangdan...they're certain that Wuiji will be safe with whoever kidnapped him because it's obvious that the kidnapper could've killed everyone with much effort, so he obviously wants something. Sifu's 100th birthday is coming up and with all seven of them together, it should be a joyous occasion.
Yeah, they get sappy. But it gets revealed that Susu is the reason why Third Brother is in the state he's in, which is why she paid the Dragon Gate Escort to get him back to Mt. Wangdan. Third Brother is most forgiving about it, but Susu is an awesome chick and won't let it go.
But once again, Third Brother preaches forgiveness, even managing to rock his chair and topple over to prevent Caishan from killing his wife....and he TOTALLY was going to do it! Part of me found that to be punk fucking rock that he would, yet another part found that she was being silly.
Sifu's 100th birthday comes around and a bunch of sects show up, but they're more interested in Caishan revealing the location of Xun and the Dragon Saber than in celebrating this guy turning 100 and still being a BAMF. So rude. But the Xun that did all the things they want to try him for is dead, replaced by a Xun that gives a shit about other people...these sects are really having one of that and add to it the Dragon Saber aspect and they just won't take no for an answer.
Fifth Brother Caishan is no damn rat!
Take that Emei nuns! I still look for a Sanniang whenever that sect appears in this show....
Oh, and guess who returns just in time to see his dad slit his own throat rather than snitch out his sworn brother?
Almost made it an entire episode without this kid's voice assaulting my aural senses. He's the main character in the series and all that, but I want the character to hurry up and get older so they'll bring in the older Wuji and I won't want to punch kittens and drown babies anymore....
