Now, onto pictures and captions and junk and stuff!
Public Morals Committee? Sounds like some kind of fascist allegory is on the horizon.
Taurus...born 1775, makes me 300-something but I'm still alive. This will be the only ICP reference I will EVER make, EVER.
I wonder if someone knew a Taurus that was a control freak and thinks all of us are like that.
Gentarou and JK signed the contract before the duel and now they're stuck with it.
Prepare to fist pump like a guido, Meteor is doing the henshin thing! Since Fourze is bound by the contract, it's up to Meteor to do the heavy lifting for this arc. Unless they come up with a way to get Gentarou and JK out of being bound by the contract some other way, Taurus is probably going to be a one & out. :(
Sure you are...individualism is so overrated, right?
and the Leo/Libra tension continues!
Miu and Shun join the party!
It was a triple "Oops!!!" from Miu this time! Gentarou without his regent hairstyle is deserving of it.
See? He looks SOOO different with his hair down.
Gentarou tracks down Taurus' motivations. Seems the source may be linked to the previous student council president.
Shinsengumi reference!! A historical group so badass, they get a lot of mentions in shows. Rurouni Kenshin featured the Shinsengumi prominently.
If you look closely at the first image I posted, you'll notice that all the members of the Morals Committee not a power hungry chick have black eyeliner going on. Seems that's a sign that Taurus has removed their free will, and that's what he does here.
The previous president. Scaroused? Yes I am! Also, her current condition has to be linked with how Taurus came into being and why he's a super control freak.
Oh Yuuki...no, the previous president didn't hop out of the wheelchair she's in and henshin or anything, but she seems to have hit the nail right on the head. An interesting situation, for a regular human to be pulling the strings of a Zodiart and for that human to have a probably more sinister agenda than the chairman.
Taurus was about to defeat Meteor when Virgo butted in and put forth that he'd be more valuable if he was used by them. Meteor putting his name on a contract that Taurus can then use to manipulate the Rider.
Ummm....OK??? Taurus dueled JK and Gentarou in their strengths (breakdancing and double dutch, respectively) so it is fair that Meteor duel the guy in what his strength is....but really, GOLF???
This arc is posing some interesting issues. Issues of individualism in a society like Japan's, how control over others can twist things, and just what are rules that are for those under them & rules that are for exercising power. What happens when you let a select group have the power to make and enforce rules over everyone. Underneath the surface of a high school dorama tokusatsu, there is a deeper subtext about the inherent wrongs of an ever-present controlling government.
Or I'm just reading WAY too much into it.
